Designed specifically for the Porsche 992 with PDK transmission. Mounts to the center console in place of the factory toggle. Installation is straightforward and fully reversible, with all original parts retained. No cutting or permanent modification.

Most gold-plated parts wear through because they are barely gold at all, a cosmetic film of 0.5 to 1.0 microns. This is the real thing. The shifter body is plated in 24 karat gold at over 2.5 microns, roughly five times the thickness of typical gold plating, deep enough to hold its color and survive contact every single time you drive. Underneath sits a 316L stainless steel core, grown layer by layer in a metal powder-bed printer and then hand-finished. Each shifter carries close to a gram of pure gold, deposited onto a part built to be used, not just admired.

Gold meets GRAIN.

Every gold shifter is finished with a solid wood knob, hand-shaped and matched to pull out the honey and amber tones the gold throws off. Choose restraint with oak or wenge, warmth with American Black Walnut, or the rare end of the spectrum with thousand-year-old Bog Oak or Macassar Ebony. No two knobs are ever identical, and each keeps developing a patina of its own with every drive. It is the reason IX XI owners take their knob with them when they move to the next car. Porsche traded the shift lever for a toggle and quietly took a ritual with it, the half-second your hand finds the knob before you drop a gear. This puts it back, in 24 karat gold. Every piece is built to order, one at a time, in our Austrian workshop, so the wait is real and so is the result. This is the top of the range, the statement at the center of your console. Not something you use up. Something you hand down.
